There’s been a lot agwan since some transmissions from this pseudoslang dot com portal so instead of trying to make a long list of all the tings, it may just be best to start at the now. The “route illy” tour is on the move currently embroiled in some cool isshhh in Chitown with some famalams like Dmn Ology a la Think Theory Radio (<–where we just had a really cool on-air chat about roaming creatively), OG Berg STATS, Mista Ide, Deadly Prey Gallery, and more characters in an epic saga which returns to melodic refrains which oft ring familiar but never repeat the same.

On November 22nd 2024 Pseudo Slang & Pawcut’s “remain in openess” Album on Millennium Jazz Music is an occurrence of a particularly dope varietal brought in by a very special hand-crafted Limited-Edition Deluxe Cassette Package w/ 24-Page Mini-Art-Booklet which is gonna go poofpretty fast being only 120 have been quite intricately, and personally crafted. It is unclear if there will be a re-up, if so it likely won’t be to the full extent of these beauties, and could actually not even be on tape for that matter. What we do know is that the Pre-Order’s Live.

This ps x paw x mjm “remain in openess” project has gradually plucked from the creme de la creme of music spanning the entirety of the 13-Year Pseudo Slang & Pawcut collaboration fairly evenly, all the way up to present-day, in what is a cohesive and classic full-length album. The seemingly endless layers of creativity continue to unfurl, as numerous albums are on the boards ready for finalizing masters, each with alluring plans in development.

This team-up with MJM has been long in the works being that we have been musically connected for decades, and now our whole extended crew can’t wait for peoples to dig into this long-awaited, long-plotted, gem. There will be extensive touring in support of it, and much more to come, so with an incredible squad of co-conspirators we are looking forward to hittin a stage near you.

As the PSlang and the cat are keeping it moving the new ps x pawcut 2xLP is steady getting snatched up via Fat Beats (the exclusive distributor of it) so shops and individuals know what to do, and this journey has also been an opportunity for the the duo to work to bring their forthcoming album to completion (slated for late 2024 / early 2025) and you can check out a couple of their past joints together here: “lofteeeponderance” & “Ruff ‘n’ Tumble”

For a spontaneously created album in “What The Neighbors —–?” no better way to announce its approach than the off-the-cuff Music Video for the song of the same name. The vid goes live this Friday July 7, 2023 at Noon CST (spotlighting the Pre-Order for the 2XLP) and reflects on our relation to the people we live amongst in the absurdity of so-called civil society, our inner turmoils, and outward contradictions.

This Pseudo Slang x Pawcut tune “What The Neighbors —–?” (song) features Lanoir (JATOBA) and the video is shot & edited by Arvid Wuensch (for Hiphopkiosk) in West Deutschland. “… nutrients to remind us of what we seek with these beats, that’s the finer stuff, like Raymond Federman the words the words we chase like cats do birds, me and Diamond Dan fantasticallee allured, these here will leave catastrophes blurred, experimental fictionist this diction’s absurd, swerves in contradiction…”

Inspiration is a contagion of the therapeutic variety. What can seem like wayward utterances from turbulent times down in the lower depths of things in the moment, sometimes resurface further down the road in the daylight, shining and reminding us of the winding path we roam. This is true of this contribution to the Vice Beats “Painted Scenes” ditty off his producer-centric Aspects LP (+45) which is avail for pre-order now. The reflections echo in Olivia Odiwe’s live-painted reinterpretation (click on image below to watch video) of the album cover art (by nearski). The song also features Thalassic, Gaspar Sena on percussion, and 5Stylez on cuts.
